I think that's neat, but what about times when the user wants to view the records, go back to the pivot table, and then go back to the records? I realize there wouldn't be a way to code for that, I suppose. I can just see where with some of my coworkers, that would end up more problematic than helpful, unfortunately. But it does leave food for thought, and it is a really cool idea. Maybe I just need to think about it...

If you wanted to code for that, you would have to do a Workbook_SheetActivate event where, if the sheet name began with "Sheet" then display a button to give the option to keep the "Sheet"x or not.

Thanx for that feedback, Steve. I might incorporate that option in my FAQ.

Okay, using kjv's suggestion, there is additional modified code if you want to be able to keep an un-renamed sheet.

When

1) the left 5 characters of the sheet name is Sheet and

2) ALL the data is SELECTED,

then the sheet will be deleted.
