I am a recent convert to Access 2000 from Access 97. I am trying to view a subreport from the main report (design view). In 97, I just double-clicked to bring up the subreport in design view. I cannot do this from Access 2000. I have a work-around that is so inefficient, there must be something better: I first select the subreport, right-click to view properties, get the name of the subreport, and then go to window...database, and open the subreport in the background. My other option is to widen the detail section that contains the subreport (which messes up the main report format), then widen the report, and still does not show on a full screen. Is there a better way?

Yeah welcome to 2000
there are other things you have to get used to also.
I close the main form and then open the subfrom by itself and work on it. Then close it up and preview main form again to see if you like it. Repeat process.

It is nicer once you unlearn Access '97's way of doing things.
