I am currently using Crystal Reports 8.0 in a Windows 2000 environment, with SQL Server 2000 being used as the database.
I would like to know if it is possible to do the following:
1. Open a pre-defined report template, populate the parameters of the template and execute the report, saving the result as a static report file. The execution code will be written in either VB or C++.
2. Open this file using the ciweb IIS application as a host and display the report and it's static data.
I need to be able to perform the above steps without using the Seagate Info Server.
