I have been reviewing literature about a product called Log Explorer. Being that the functionality to view online transaction logs for SQL Server is not available yet I needed to find something to do it for me. The product Log Explorer allows you the ability to review transactions in SQL Server close to real-time. The product has the ability to go back and undo a transaction without having to restore the database. Does anyone have any experience with this product and can give me some details on reliability, usability or maybe even alternate products to check out. The website to Lumigent which is the company that develops Log Explorer is Thanks.

I've been using a trial version downloaded from Lumigent. Thus far, I've been impressed with the capabilities and usability. The user interface is execellent.

I'm primarily interested in the ability to recover data or back out transactions. Thus far, the product has worked as advertised. I'm still testing functionality so I can't give a full report on all functions or product reliability. Terry L. Broadbent
