We are currently using Crystal Enterprise 10 and have multiple client portals set up for them to view reports relating to them. Currently the parameter entered when viewing the reports are being cached or saved somewhere resulting in people having to refresh the report to enter new parameters when viewing the report each time. Is there a way to make it not cache this information so it prompts for the parameters each time with out having to refresh?

Thank you.

It sounds like you want to turn off the File->Save data with Report within CR and then save the report again, but it's hard to know without having some idea of how this *portal* is using the report.

We have the reports loaded into Crystal Enterprise and then have HTML links in the portal to the reports. Example:

The first time you view the report online it prompts you for the parameters, but then it save those values and next time it will not prompt you until you press refresh. Thank you.

Hi,
Check the Parameters tab in the CMC for the report and be sure the 'Prompt Users..' box is checked..
