I know there has been some discussion on this in past threads, but I couldn't find an exact answer to my question. I developed an Access DB with a bunch of reports on one computer. When trying to call up the reports on another computer, I get an error that the specified printer for which the report was configured is not available. Obviously if I distribute this DB to various other people, they are not going to have access to the same printers that I do. How can I make it to where everyone can view (and print) these reports regardless of which printer they are using.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Collen

open all the reports in preview mode and if a user wants to print a copy then they should click on the printer icon in the toolbar.

Program Error
Programmers do it one finger at a time!

Thanks for the response...

I am opening them in preview mode- that's where I get the error.

Thanks for the responses. It turns out that the solution was very simple. I just needed to go into the page setup on the report and tell Access to use the default printer.

Thanks again,
Collen
