Viewing Pdf Files In Internet Explorer

Hello,

I have acrobat reader 5.0 and internet explorer 5.0 (a very old version).

The problem is that I can't view the files throught internet explorer.

I also can't for work purposes upgrade my version of internet explorer.

Do you know if the only solution is to downgrade my version of adobe acrobat? I have tried that and it works but do not want to.
