Viewing Other Users' Calendar Info

On our Exchange server, in the Public Folders directory, we have created a Group Schedule. This allows all our users to open it and view the schedules of everyone in the company, kind of like when you're creating a meeting. The minor issue that we are having is that the Group Schedule will show that a person is busy at a particular time, but won't show any info on the meeting or appointment (such as the meeting name); even if the meeting is not set to private. I can see the name and info for my meetings and some select other people (not reliably though), but that's it. The same also happens when viewing the schedules when creating a new meeting.

I would like to know if it is possible for me, the admin, to set it so that everyone can see everybody else's meeting info? I know that the individual user can share their calendar, but I really don't want to tax my user's computer intelligence with this.

This is by design - you'd need to modify the permissions of the users' calendars to set all other users as Reviewers.

Then you would not need the central schedule either - how do you keep that up to date anyway?

There is nothing to keep up to date except the list of people who are currently employed. The Group Schedule resides in the Public Folders on the Exchange server and everyone can check who's free or busy without jumping through the hoops of creating a meeting. The Group Schedule feature of Outlook 2003+ allows you to add people to the schedule and it grabs the information from their calendar. It is very similar to the scheduler that is part of the meeting creation dialog.

Everyone can browse everything in the Public Folder, I don't think the issue is with the Public Folder though. While the Group Schedule resides in the Public Folder, I think it's an extension of the Calendar Scheduler. I believe the issue is with the permissions on the individual users' calendars and I was wondering if there was a way for me (not the user, I don't want to worry the users about this) to either globally or individually set the permissions.
