Viewing log files

I can retrieve log filess of a BCM 50 OK and they come over as a TAR file. I have WINRAR whiel can rear TAR files, but I find that these are Tar files withina Tar file - but when I fiond the actual log file the file size is alway zero and I can't read anything.

Is there a better utility to unpack them?

I use element manager to view the log files.

use the view network element logs option in the file menu.

The log files do work as Khosher has stated, but it can take a few minutes to unpack.
