Can someone tell me how to check on a novell 5.11 file server the number of licenses that I have installed on it? I know on a 4.11 it would tell you when you typed version at the system console screen.

You need to go into nwadmn.
You will have license objects, one for servers, one for connections.

A server license will give you 5 user connections. Presume it has this as a base.

In the license objects that are under blah blah Conn+5xx (xx being netware version) double clicke each license, select assignment and see if that license is assigned to the relevant server. If it is on the general page of those details it will tell you how many licenses it allows.
