Hi

I have a PC where all attached images on emails will not be displayed. Instead they have to be opened one by one as if it was an attachment that could not be opened or run by Outlook Express. How can I fix this so the images are displayed at the bottom of the message just like it should and normally does?

Thanks, Steve

What file type are the attachments? (jpg, bmp, etc.)

What version of OE? What operating system?

Do these file types display correctly on the web using Internet Explorer? In OE, Tools, Options, Security tab - does 'block images....' have any effect?

Its all good there is a setting in the options to read all messages in plain text and that was enabled.

I have a related question. In Outlook 2003, whenever I click on an attached JPG image, the XP picture viewer comes up but displays the message, 'No preview available'. When I close it down, there is a Microsoft Office Outlook popup window with the message 'The system cannot find the file specified.'

Can anyone tell me where to fix this? I'm assuming there is some option in Outlook where I'm blocking the ability to open these attachments, but I haven't been able to find it.

Thanks for the help!
