We are having an issue when trying to view historical instances through ePortfolio.

The report we are trying to view is an Aging report, so it measures the amount of time a file has been in process, based upon the current date. The formula takes the CurrentDate - The File Received Date to determine the age. This report is grouped by age.

When we view a historical instance, it recalculates the age based on today's date, and re-groups the report based on age. I would have thought the historical instance would be saved data where nothing would change.

Does anyone know why this is happening or what I can do to have true historical reports?

Thanks for your help.

How are you accessing the historical Instances through ePortfolio?

If you are clicking HISTORY of a Report Object, and then Clicking on the INSTANCE TIME of a specific Instance...then the "CurrentDate" may be your issue.

You could change the "CurrentDate" to a run-time Parameter that way the Sept.30th report Instance would always display based on the Sept.30th date.

Another option would be to set your DEFAULT Instance Format to Acrobat - that would give you a PDF that is fixed at the time the Instance is run.
