Viewing Disks

I hope im in the right place. I'm new to Solaris and have a question about viewing ALL install diks on a system.

I have a SunFire 280R with StorEDGE D1000 with 12 36GB SC drives in it. I'm running Solaris 10.

I would like to know what command do I need to run to see all 12 36GB drives and how do i test them.

format and and iostat -En

format will tell you how the drive is partitioned and a bunch of other info,you can run diags with format, if you wish, but be careful.


iostat -En will tell you almost all you need to know about the drives.
