I have an excel document that I would like to view on one of my web pages. How can I import the data on the excel activ x control on my webpage.

If I add an excel active x control to the page and go into its properties and click on the import data tab it allows me to put in a url but i need to put in a file path ie \\fwpdc\public folder\test\test.xls for example - how would i change that into a url to display the data i need located on the same server.

Place the spreadsheet in your website's root directory or a folder in your web and then point to it.

Place a folder in your root web and name it something like "pictures" (\\my documents\my webs\yourwebsitename\pictures). Place the picture here, and it should accept this file path.
