View Tasks from Subsites

I have a sharepoint website with 2 subsites right now. What I want is on the top-level site is see all the tasks that are contained in the lower level sites and which site the task is coming from. Is it possible to view/list/filter tasks from subsites and if so how?

Hello,

You can chose to display contents from lists residing on subsites by using Frontpage 2003 and link the lists together. You can have a lists on the top-site that reads data from the sub-sites.

I did some testing in my lab environment and I opened the top site in FP2003, chosed to convert a list I created there to XLST and then I could chose to link it to another existing list.

I would suggest that you either do this on a test environment (or test site) or make sure you have a full backup before modifying anything. By experience I know it is very easy to break sites while working with FP
