We've developed a custom welcome page with several frames.
One frame displays the users inbox and calendar and another displays a frameset held in a discussion database.
Neither of the frames in the discussion database seem to update - any ideas?
Programmatically refreshing the frame seems to work, but one problem is to find a suitable trigger. Using a scheduled agent or the notestimer to trigger is out of the question as these are back end events...
Any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated.
The idea of displaying the discussion database with the email is that we can reduce the number of emails (reducing the number of interuptions)... but if the views don't refresh then we haven't acheived very much.
We already have code that uses the notestimer to play a sound or display a message if it detects new messages.
