Sorry, stupid question!!!

I have some issue, I think with the view settings, that means that blank lines aren't displayed. For example I add a line between task groups and at some stage it disappears and leaves me without the blank line and the row numbers are no longer sequential e.g. row; 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8...

I have played with my views and looked in the help but can't seem to find what setting I have inadvertently switched on or off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You probably have applied either a filter or an AutoFilter.

Filter: On the Formatting toolbar, near the right end, you'll see a box has has a list of pre-defined filters. If this doesn't say "All Tasks" then set it to that. Alternatively:

click on Project > Filtered For:xxx > list-of-filters.

If xxx is not "All Tasks" then select that option from the list-of-filters.

AutoFilter: if you see small black triangles in the column headers then you have "AutoFilter" turned on. You can apply an AutoFilter on any column (or columns) and, once applied, you can then hide the column and it's not apparent which column you are AutoFiltering on. Turn "AutoFilter" off by looking on the Formatting toolbar for a "funnel". Click once on the funnel and that will turn off Autofilters. Alternatively:

click on Project > Filtered for:xxx >

If there is an icon to the left of AutoFilter then click once on Autofilter to turn it off.

When both those conditions are met (Filter for: All tasks; AutoFilter off) you will see all rows.
