View/Hide control... When I view one table I want to hide the others

I have 3 tables and they are viewed and hidden using some java script. However at the moment I can open all 3 tables at the same time and I don't want to be able to! Is it possible for me to add to the code so that when I view a table, if either of the other 2 are open they will become hidden?

Yes, you could write your own or you could something like the JQuery accordion plugin.

Thanks for the reply. I'm quite new to this so forgive me for perhaps being stupid but how would that plugin work? and how would I go about writing my own because as I said.. I don't know how I would do it.

If you read the documentation on the plugin homepage, they will have an example explaining all of it to you.

As for writing one yourself, you'll be better off asking in the javascript forum with any issues you get.

Oh fair enough i guess that's true. Looking at those plugins I realised that that's not actually the sort of thing I'm talking about, I have a hyperlink which on the click of the relevant shows/hides the table. Thanks for your replies anyway!

I'm assuming you are talking about html tables. you will need javascript and css since this is a concern of the client, not the server. you can try posting in forum215. they won't care too much about the server markup. only the html rendered.
