Hi,
I wanted to try and copy a view I had through the View->More Views 'system'. By doing so, I created a copy of the same gantt chart I was working on.
When I tried removing one column (eg. the Cost column.. by hiding it) from one of the views, it disappeared from both of the views.
Is it possible to created two views, through copying, and hiding some columns from one of the views only?

I dont find any 'system' tab on more views; checked in msp2000 and msp 2010.

A view consists of a table, a group and a filter.

If you simply copied the view then you have two views (i.e. two views with different names) that have the same table, the same group and the same filter.

In your case you need to copy the existing view (let's say it's called Gantt) into a new view (let's call that new view PDQBachView).

Next, determine the table being used by Gantt (in the default installation it is Entry) and you need to copy the Entry table into a new table (let's call that new table PDQBachTable).

Finally you need to edit the new view definition (PDQBachView) to use the new table (PDQBachTable).
