View File Access?

I was wondering if it possible to look at a files details and see the last time the file has actually been opened. Our server is getting cluttered and well i would like to see what is ready to archive. I know i can see the last time a file has been modified, but am not sure if i can see the last time it has actually been opened. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The properties dialog box show the :

Created date
Last Modified date
Last accessed date

There are 3rd party utils that can report this information.
