I'm currently running six xenapp (presentation server 4.5) vm's for about 100 users with nothing more than a dump terminal sitting on their desks. We're really pleased with our entire vsphere 4 setup running nearly every production box we have. So, I've been checking into VMware View 4 as a replacement for our Citrix/Terminal Servers.

I've checked out a few posts on line and even a webcast by Brain Madden on the topic (good info by the way). But, I've still got questions as it doesn't seem real clear on comparing the two.

Rather than posting a ton of questions, I'm just curious if anyone out there has done this migration already? If so (or not), I'm wondering how the price comparisons stacked up? Does it make good business sense or not? All the server licenses vs the desktop licenses (and new hardware to support all the vm storage/servers)..

Thanks for sharing..
