videoout on irix 6.5--changing size

I'm desperately searching for answers and you'll have to forgive my posting. I am a TV meteorologist using radar software on an O2, Irix 6.5. We use "videoout" to send the radar screen to video. Our problem is that this output window is not adjustable--it sends a default portion of the screen (about a fourth of it) but this doesn't include all we want it to. Is there another script available that allows resizing of this output window (to standart NTSC)? I've read through all the MAN pages of videoout, vlcmd, etc trying to find a way, but can't. Anyone have an idea?
