Hi

I've shot a small anount of video footage on a digital still camera. Trouble is I forgot and filmed in portrait view (Upright) so when I transferred the footage to my PC, it's on it's side !!!

Is there any way I can rotate the footage to the correct angle ?

Many thanks

Most viewer programs and other programs that allow you to view pics have that feature built into them.
You can try compupic or irfanview, irfanview is free, you can google either one.

Win xp has a built in viewer, maybe it can rotate the pic for you as well.

Could be wrong about that, just had a look in my win xp pro. But there is win movie maker and it allowed me to import a pic.

Ok, i just went to win xp paint, imported a pic and there is a rotate option there.

Think I may have mislead you all slightly. It is actual VIDEO footage that I need to rotate, not a still image.

Sorry & Thanks again !

Maybe that some video editing suite could do it. Pinnacle Studio 9 does not do it. Does anyone know if Adobe Premiere does it?

Video editors can rotate video. Sony Vegas, for example, can do this. There are also other lower cost choices.
