Hi all,

I have a packardbell pc running windows 98. After upgrading memory, I lost video, the screen was black, even later with the new memory chip removed.

Has any one experienced this before? and how to get video back in working?

Your info that leads to solve this problem will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Maybe you pulled the vga cable loose from the pc when installing the new memory. Check if the cable is properly connected to the video card.

also check all cards and cables are socketed right .. might be something inside the case has come loose
