I know I should probably have done this in Director, but the client only uses Flash, so here goes:

I have several video clips in MPG1 format, and I have imported them into Flash MX. I have selected quality=100, keyframe interval=15, scale=100, checked the Synchronize video to Macromedia Flash document frame rate and the import audio function.

The problem is twofold:

1) The video will run, but the first time it runs there is no sound, when it loops again the sound will work.

2) When I go to export to .swf or publish an .exe, the process chokes halfway through and an error message appears saying "Not enough memory to complete." Now, I have 2+GB of RAM and 2 GHz processor, so not sure why it is doing this. The videos total less than 50MB together. Any ideas how to resolve these issues?

Thanks for your help in advance.

2. possibly related to the libray getting overloaded with stuff. try culling any and all crap from the library and then save as a new file. worked for me the time i got that error message.
