Video in mac an pc

I'm doing a cd for mac and pc but the problem is that if i import the video as avi works in PC but not in Mac, and if I import in QT works in Mac but in PC needs to have installed QT, is there any way to do only one import?, a extra or something.

i wouldn't know a extra for your problem. but you might want to look at pixelpark.com.

as for the videos. i usually use qt (which is quite common on the pc aswell). then you get the qt installer (for both mac and pc) and put it on the cd aswell. on loading the movie, check if qt is installed, if not, advise the user to install qt first.

wouldn't know any other way.
