I have a problem with video conferencing whereby the symptoms are: (sorry for just getting right into it)

Flakey video
Loss of video and audio
Long time to make initial connection
No contstant connection speed. E.g. 128K or 384K. Various almost every connection

The setup is as follows:

2x 3300 LX controllers
2x NSU controllers both NSU's on a controller
1x Embedded E1 card connected to the other controller
Controllers are IP trunked
BRI Tandem 990MXP 512K VC connected to the controller running the NSU's

The above mentioned symtomps only occur when routing the VC via the NSU's. Via the embedded E1 no problem.

The issue is that they have 4 x PRI E1's which are split equally amongst the controllers 2 on the controller with the embedded E1 and two on the controller "servicing" the NSU's. It's not a problem to direct all the VC calls to go accross the embedded E1 via IP trunking but this only ever allows a connection of 128K outbound. I also can't control the incoming connection to not go over the E1's on the NSU's, the Telco is in control of this.

There's more info but I should maybe first ask the question of is there anything on a NSU that I should be looking at or change specifically to accomodate Video Conferencing?

If the NSU's can handle the VC I wouldn't have to route my outbound calls accross the IP trunk to the controller with the embedded E1.

many thanks
