Hello I have a asus mobo a7a266 with ali chipset with a e-gforce 2 64 mb card. What should the settings be in the bios for this card? I printed out a list from the maker of video board for preferred bios settings but its seems general. How do I know if the bios is set up for optimal stablity and performance for the video card.

First and foremost, make sure you install the latest chipset drivers for you mobo. You can get those at Asus's website. Afterwards, obtain and install the latest drivers for your video card. Only then should you even proceed to bother with the BIOS settings. Most cards come with some documentation on what the general settings should be. If not, Asus's documentation on the mobo should provide a good enough explanation of each setting to where you can determine what they should be. At least mine did.
