Hey everyone , I currently use Connect 3D Radeon 7000 64mb 4x card on my mb , I was planning on purchasing the Radeon 9200 256 8x.... Does anyone know if it's compatible? I've searched for the voltage specs on the 9200 and can't find anything , my mb only supports 1.5 volts and has 4x data transfer, any help would be appreciated.

Yes, it is compatible.

I would suggest, however, to go with a lesser card, like a Radeon 9200 with 128meg of ram. Currently there is no games that take can tage advantage of 256meg ram, and when they do come to take advantage of the memory, that complex of a game would not run well at all on a Radeon 9200 gpu.

It's like fitting a 100MHz Pentium cpu with 1gig of system memory; sure you can do it, but it's not going to help you out any.

You can still find the very fast Radeon 9500/9500pro at knock down prices (£60/£70)UK, this would a considerable jump up from the 9200 for only a little extra mulla.
9500Pro's outpace the newer 9600Pro's but even a non Pro would be a considerable jump up from your Rad 7000 and a much better option than the 9200.
