Video card recommendations?

I've recently started watching movies on my pc from both file and dvd. I've been having some problems with frames skipping and things like that, and I figure it has something to do with my crappy built in intel video card (16MB). I'm figuring that if I get a good enough video card the problem will go away. My system is p3-1GHz with 512MB RAM and it has no AGP slots, PCI only. Can anyone recommend a good PCI video card for me that will work relatively hassle free with linux? It doesn't need to be top of the line (is there even such a thing for PCI cards?), just good enough for me to watch movies on (I'm not a gamer or anthing). I also just got an LCD screen (yeah!), so a dvi port would probably be preferred, although not neccessary.

Thanks,
Venkman
