Please help!!!!
I have a Compaq Deskpro PII266 computer. For some reason the AGP bus is disabled and I cant enable it in the BIOS or anything. Do you know of anyway to enable it?

Because I cant use AGP video I brought a SiS 8MB 3D PCI card
to replace the terrible 2MB Trident PCI card. When I put it in and turned on the computer, I saw the SiS video bios screen and then when I went into my Compaq Bios the screen went blank and I have'nt been able to get back into it. The monitor actually still has the green light and you can see a dark grey image on the screen and a lined yellow and grey image when it boots into windows 98 but thats it. I have tried everything (disable VGA controller/enable PCI bus mastering/Clear CMOS via motherboard) but nothing seems to work. Any suggestion please?

Sounds like the video card is running at higher refresh rate than your monitor can display, hence the garbled display.

Can you boot into safe mode? If so, the card will be running at 56Hz, and your monitor should work ok.
If this is the case, you will need some software to slow the video card refresh down - I have downloaded this in the past (SIS site? I can't remember . . .)
