i have insatalled a video card in an agp slot 8x but the report i get when accessing info is that it is on a pci slot 6 am i doing something wrong, my card is a nvidia 5600xt 256mb graphics card

Have you found programs or apps that did not work correctly or at full speed on your system? Somethimes this info comes from the BIOS not returning the info correctly to the OS, but it may not affect the drivers.

like sir felixc said, it could be that bios is not reporting properly to windows. go to the bios setup and check if your video is set to pci (change it to agp if it is).

hope this helps. peace! [peace]
