?!Video Card Issues!?

I have got my new computer i installed my video card correctly and all then installed the drivers, it was working excellent for about 10 minutes untill it shut off... i opened it up and removed my video card and it went right back on ? when i put it in and out its like it interrupts the power or somthing. To make sure it wasnt the video card i was using i used 2 old ones and i still have the same result ??? HELP
ps i have a
Gigabyte GT ga 8ipe775-g motherboard
pentium4 3.2 ghz
maxtor 200gb HD
500 Wat power supply

Is the system shut down and the power cord disconnected when you're removing and reinserting the video card?

Yes AND no i tried both ways i also noticed when its on with no video card that it makes 3 beeps starting up 1 long one and 2 short ones in that order , also my on light just blinks ....

You may have damaged the video card and/or the MB by removing and inserting the video card with the power turned on.

Thx for response, i kinda had the same thing in mind , most liley damaged the motherboard cuz my video cards work on my old computer...
