my problem is with my GeForce 4 MX440 with x8 agp. the mobo i have is a MSI KT4V-L which supports x8 agp. now for some reason in my bios settings i can only select x4 apg. i have updated my bios to the most recent one msi provides and i've also done the same with my geforce drivers. i still have the same problem. i've tried visiting msi web site to see if i could get some help, but they barley put together one sentence on that damn site.. all mumbo jumbo. i was wondering if there would be a jumper or a switch i would have to change on my mobo or if it is just a driver problem?..

I've still got my geForce2, so I can't relate to your problem... however, I will say don't worry too much if the video card is stuck in 4x. Because of the high memory built into the video card itself, the video card hardly has to interact with main memory (agp aperature size) and thus the extra bandwitdh is wasted.
