I have a Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB, and I'm wondering if it's worth the $ to buy a new heatsink to put on it, or if I should spend a little more $ for a lot better card. (I've been told I can do so.) Prices for new heatsink on Newegg are about $20-$30.

I'm also curious about how I can hook-ups video game platforms (GameCube, PS2, X-Box) to play on my computer. I already have a multi-adaptor that plugs into any of the above platforms on one end, and on the other goes to a S-Video. I checked the specs on the 9800 and it says the S-Video is an output. Any ideas??

Why would you want a new heatsink, what's wrong with the old one?

If you want to hook s-video up to your PC you'll need a card with an s-video input. Some TV-tuner cards have this and so do some 'vivo' ("video in, video out") graphics cards. Alternatively you can buy a dedicated video capture card but that will probably be more expensive.

A console displayed on a PC monitor won't look as good as on a TV though.
