Video Capture problem with AIW 9700 pro

I am capturing video through both the antenna and the s-video connection, and saving as MPEG. I have used both low and good settings. The picture periodically jumps or stutters like its missing frames.

System is a P4 2.66Ghz, 512mg memory, and 2 120Gb scsi drives. Capture is going to second drive which has almost nothing on it.

Does anyone know how I might eliminate this problem?

Make sure absolutely no other program is running at the time. Make sure the screen saver is disabled.
