Hi,

I have a voodoo 3/1500 16 mb video card. I am having problems with viewing videos and some of the "still" images. They are distorted along with colors being blotchy and "neon". As a video starts you can see the image, then as it progresses the colors fade out and the image breaks up and then fades. Still photos have spots and streaks in them. However, I can play counter strike without any problems. I can view windows just fine, but I can't view images and video.

I have installed direct x9 and ran the diagnostics, It says it is working just fine, but it is not. Please Help

The Voodoo series have died a while ago. They are not produced any more and if your trying to watch DVD-movies or play DivX movies then you'll need a pretty good video card. At least a GeForce Series to have a smooth picture. I don't know what the specs of your system are, but it might be to slow to play videos.
Try if you can find a new driver for the VooDoo on the net.
Try
Good luck.
