Hello,
Can anyone tell me for sure what the Victory Message Server is. I'm guessing it refers to the private domain??

Here is the info.
MM3.1 with MSS. Installed and working fine, but in application event viewer, the error message I get is mailbox does not match 6700~IMAP4, Victory Message Server, event 149.
I searched the Doc's and the internet and only found a thread refering to IMAP passwords. I will try retyping passwords, but does anyone know any reference for the event error?

thanks,
Hudson22

The Victory Message Server is the MSS. Is this the only mailbox that gets this error? Does the mailbox work?

Yes, box 6700 is the only one with this error.
Last I checked the mailbox still answered correctly.
thanks for your response

can you paste the error in the post. It sounds like you may need to refresh the FEDB

Here is the same issue with sub 5708, which was added manually and not through mbmserver. Initially 1054 boxes were added through mbmserver. Adding after this seems to cause this error.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: gv_mmserver
Event Category: General
Event ID: 149
Date: 11/19/2007
Time: 11:13:26 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: MNBM01-MAS01
Description:
Failed to examine mailbox for mailbox ~5708/INBOX on Victory Message Server mss1, protocol IMAP4. (A timeout occurred., )
Search String: UNSEEN UNDELETED KEYWORD VOICE NOT KEYWORD BROADCAST

Error reading Mailbox Properties for subscriber: 5708
Reason: Failed to select .userinfo folder. hr=0x80040115

Looks like the problem was not getting the configuration prior to using mbm to add additional subscribers. Once I set up the trusted server again and connected the mbm laptop, I pulled the config and this seemed to clear up the issues with sub 6700.
