I want to convert my home movies on VHS to DVD. How do I connect my VCR to my PC? What software do I need? I have EZ CD creator 6 if that will do. thanks.

VHS tapes to Digital

I use my Sony MiniDV camera to do the analog to digital convertion. It works something like this: Analog HI8 vidieo camera connected to my Sony MiniDV camera which is connected to my Mac via firewire. The Sony MiniDV is just coverting A2D conversion. Then I use the software on my Mac to make the DVD (iMovie and iDVD).
For your PC you would need something to do the A2D coverstion and lots of free hard disk space (lots of memory doesnt hurt). Then you can use simple DVD burning software to make the DVD (with no editing. If you want fancy then there are lots of software packages out there to help.
Sory cant help much, but like I said "I use a Mac"
