I'm seeing these new error messages. Has anyone seen these and determined what causes them?

08/04/2009 09:45:21 LOG0003 VGW: vapiPassThruCmd: Error: 83, msg type = VAPIPassThruGeneric

HOLY SMOKES!!! WE ARE GETTING THOSE TOO!!!!

We have a CS1000e running 5.0

I was wondering if it has to do with the new CAM03 MGC patch ... you are on the latest and greatest, right??

We also got PBXResetLink (link 2) as well as intermittent QoS errors - but they are not impacting our call center, so we think it could be the CPPM just complaining.

Finally we see DIAG005 as well:

I'll try to remember to post if we figure it out

I'm seeing the same LOG0003 VGW error! Has anyone figured anything out on this one yet?

I noticed it when I went to CAM02 loadware. Upgrading to CAM03 loadware didn't make it go away. I'm working with Nortel on the issue currently but it hasn't gone very far so far.

YES!!! I would agree with you biv343 that it likely started with the CAM02 loadware, but we jumped from AH19 to CAM03, so I cannot verify. This is why we noticed it first with CAM03. Thank you!!!! Definitely post whoever figures it out ... I am guessing a new patch is required (per usual) :D

There is a VO patch, MPLR27407, for the MGC card that is supposed to address that issue. I'm waiting for Nortel to get it to me. Once I get it and load it i'll post back with the info.

THANK YOU biv343!! I knew that there would be yet another patch ... ;D
I think I am going to look thru our logs more today to see what is still going on. Thank you for the info!

MPLR27407 fixed that error from what I can see. I haven't seen the vapipassthru message on the TTY since it was installed.

No point in requesting that patch. MGC loadware CAM04 just got released today, and includes that patch. CAM03 didn't even last a month.

I just updated a site a week ago with CAM03 and now am constantly seeing this error. It only prints out on a ACD serial printer ( even though there is a printer connected to the TTY itself ). I am reluctant to go with the new CAM04 as it was just released. Will the MPLR27407 patch fix this?

That patch is included in CAM04. I'd save yourself the hassle and go right to the AM04 loadware rather than go through the hassle of loading the patch manually.

Thanks guys!!! We will get CAM04 soon (hopefully) - just have to get a maint window and wait on our vendor.

On my other note <above> we also get PBXLinkReset so I wonder if this CAM04 fixes it as well? We have seen the PBXLinkReset on all of our MGCs.
