I am having some issues with calls that are consistantly choppy. All 6 stations are on the same VG224. I have noticed that the port settings are missing some fields. Questions is this: Would choppy calls be a result of:

Device Settings:

Calling Search Space is diferent then other analog stations.
No Media Resource Group List Assigned
No User Locale
No Network Locale
Location set to Hub_None and not our normal location.

Just wanting to see if these setting would affect call quality at all or if I should be looking somewhere else.

Could well be. Make note of what you have now, then change them one at a time to see if matters improve. CSS seems to be the likely culprit of what you listed.

wrong css would not cause voice quality issues, nor would the rest of the options you mentioned. A wrong css would not allow calling at all.
Is it all the VG ports with this issue or some?
If all check the ethernet port on the VG to make sure it doesn't have a port mismatch with the switch port it is connected to. Check it for errors.
Try rebooting the VG as well but that would be a last resort.

A wrong CSS might be sending it out of a different gateway that is having issues, on the other side of the country for example, or the data link between may not have QOS enabled, giving the issues described.

Agreed, but that would still be a QoS issue or a circuit issue. Moving it to a different css and gateway would not really fix the issue, just mask it for a while. Again the css would not be the cause of quality issues.
