We have an H80 with a 16 drive SSA enclosure set up as a single 583GB RAID_10 array hdisk. This will replace a current set of non-raid SSA's with a single VG and 34 LV/FS setup in it. Some of these FS are very small and some are rather large, 103GB. Looking for some input on whether to bust this into two VG's one for the small and one for the large FS and the size of the PP's to setup the VG.

Thanks in advance

I'd go for a single VG.
With raid 10 you can stand to lose one disk in each half of the mirror and still keep going. Any other setup and you will hit size limits at some point and have to start moving stuff around and resizing arrays.
The performanse shouldn't suffer from the big array.
