Several of my clients are reporting that a VFP7 application, that I support, is crashing after being idle for some time. The application in question is installed on a Windows 2003 Server computer along with the DBFs. The Windows XP workstations only have the runtime files with a shortcut to the .EXE on the server.
What is strange about this is that these clients recently migrated to 2003 Server from 2000 Server, and that that was the only change in their network. Does anyone know of any new features or settings in Windows 2003 Server that has to be turned on/off or adjusted to prevent this VFP7 app from timing out? When this crash happens, the whole application goes away, no error messages.
Thanks in advance for any help.
