Recital Corporation announces Microsoft .NET initiative
Danvers (MA), March 21, 2001 - Recital Corporation today announced a
Microsoft .NET development initiative to provide Microsoft FoxPRO users
with a fully web-enabled .NET platform. Utilizing the Microsoft .NET
framework classes, Recital Mirage .NET, being developed in C# will
enable Microsoft FoxPRO applications to run on the web in a browser "as
is".
"Recital Mirage .NET embraces the Microsoft .NET platform and will
provide complete support for running FoxPRO applications on the web.
Unlike ASP.NET, Recital Mirage .NET will enable FoxPRO developers to
deploy interactive applications with little to no additional development
effort." said Barry Mavin, CEO.
Recital Mirage .NET is a redevelopment of the Recital Mirage (Java)
product that enables FoxPRO and FoxBASE applications to run in a Java
enabled browser on the web. A live demonstation of this product can be
