I have a user who is getting this error. The error occurs after the "Creating Adobe PDF" dialog box and prior to any page progress. PDF Progress heading name of the report.

OLE exception error: Exception code c00000005. OLE object may be corrupt.

I have removed creation of the foxuser by using the RESOURCE=OFF in the Config.fpw. Deleted the existing foxuser.*

No one else is getting this error. I am going to reinstall VFP and reinstalling which should register the CR and maybe this will work.

Does any one have a suggestion why this happened and/or what I can do now? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I would think the dlls were there. This user has been using the software for awhile with exe and report updates. He is just doing what has been working for him.

Are there anything other than reinstall I can do.

Thank you,

Would you tell me the dlls that I should replace?

Thank you,

Taterday,

It depends on which version of CR you are using.

If you are using CR XI, the product comes with a number of merge modules that can be used with a standard Windows installer (such as InstallShield Express). You'll find them in Program Files\Common Files\Merge Modules\. (The names should be obvious).

If you use these merge modules in your install package, the user should get all the required DLLs.

In earlier versions of CR, there are far fewer DLLs to distribute. You should find a list of them in the developer's help file.

Thank you,

I appreciate all the help. Am I right in this, you guys do think the error is a dll problem?

If I replace the dll, the user should be OK?
