I have been ask to consider developing an ASP site. I am presently programming in VFP 6. Are there functions being added to VFP 7 for developing an ASP site that would make it worth while to wait until it is released? Is there a beta version available so I can gain some insight into the changes in this area?

Thanks in Advance'

Hi SmokeyJoe,

I cant speak well for VFP7 because I've yet to delve into it. However, as far as ASP being integrated into VFP7, I highly doubt it. ASP uses Visual Basic Script. Now, there will probably be more support for producing HTML code.

If you are wanting to use VFP, I would recommend you look into and They host Active FoxPro Pages(AFP). If your interested in a site developed totally on AFP, refer to
Yes there is a beta version. Sorry, I dont have the URL handy. Explore and you should be able to find more info. Jon Hawkins
