I am compiling EXE and DLL's in VFP 6.0 and trying to use the Build Option, Version button. I enter a version and fill the Version Information fields.

Using Windows Explorer, to look at the Properties of the EXE or DLL built I only see one tab, the 'General' information. Should not a 'Version' tab be generated as seen when viewing MS distributed DLL?

I have been through the help and Project options. Am I missing something? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I use it all the time (for exes) and yes, you get a version tab when you look at it theough explorer. I suppose you could have a corrupted project file. You might try recreating the project.

Read this please all my friends and say big WOW with me to Microsoft. From the article Rick just posted a link to it..

This problem only occurs with Visual FoxPro 6.0 with the Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 3 updates, running on Windows 98 or Windows 95. The original release of Visual FoxPro 6.0 without the Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 3 updates does not exhibit this problem.

I wonder what are the functionalties I already lost when I installed SP4 Walid Magd
