All of my users and I can create an ODBC link to a particular database, but only one can do so at a time.
Anyone can create a new DSN, or use the one that is already there. After linking, everything works fine for them. But, everyone else gets an "ODBC - connection to <database> failed" error. If they delete the connection and create their own, it now works for them, but the previous connector can not connect to the new one, only the one they created.
I am a domain admin and the rest are weak users, but with sufficient privilidges. They are all in the same group to which the privilidges are set. Now, there are several other databases on this server and none of them are experiencing this problem.
The final fact to note, this database had been running fine on another server. I export/imported it over the weekend. That is when the trouble started.
I would sure as heck appreciate any ideas. Thanks in advance.
