Hi There,
Ok, can someone please tell me if they have ever come accross this problem, or can give me any hints on fixing it.....
Here is some background of the report first.
I have a basic Crystal report, that is run daily. It has a date parameter (defaults to 01/01/00), and in the selection criteria the date selection is either of
Date = {Date Parameter} or Date = Today=1
So in theory the report will always have 2 days data in it.
Then the report is set to display/hide based on:
If the {Date Parameter} = 01/01/00 then hide that dates data, and show the 'today +1' data, else do the opposite.
Result:
If I run this in CRYSTAL REPORTS, it works fine and does what it should.
If I run this in EPORTFOLIO, it runs ok for all formats EXCEPT for the Tab Separated Values version. Runs with no data on the output.
Note - before I added the date parameter and conditional supression, it worked fine as a TSV output. That is the only change made, but its weird that it works in other formats not TSV.
Since it works for all other formats, it seems to be a TSV issue, but I have absolutely no idea why/how it occured.
I should also say, that this optional date parameter that I added, I pilfered from another report I have published to Eportfolio and it works in TSV format on that report, which seems to rule out a server setting error.
Very confused!!
My next step is to be to try and republish the report to see if that copy is faulty, then try rebuilding it.....
regards
BB
