Hello all,
Have a customer asking for maybe the impossible.
They are a dentist office with numerous elderly customers.
When their auto attendant happens to answer (right away at night & after 3 rings during the day) they have in the recording press 0 to leave a general message & that works fine, via goes to receptionist VM
The problem is these elderly customers don't press 0 & continue to listen to the recording, then still don't press 0 & don't press anything at all.
There's a 9-10 second delay before it goes to the Fallback Ext.
Basically the AA is doing what it's suppose to, waiting for the caller to choose an option.
Is there a way to shorten, or even get rid of that delay?
I'm testing it on our 9.1.12 with embedded voicemail.
My customer actually has a basic system, but both do the same.
Seems like no one even looks at this site's Basic/Partner tech questions & I even told my customer theirs is a basic & the Essential system is better & would probably work the way they want.
After testing back in my office, like I said they both do the same.
Thanks for all replies
